love this! The melody and synth around 0:43 reminds me of Rammstein's Du Hast, and then the rest of the track I was waiting for a German vocal melody :') Looking forward to the next weekly beat!

Love the big fuzzy guitar tones and drums! I think I'd given it a higher rating if the vocals were like 2 or 3 db quieter so the blend in a bit more? Maybe it's just an eq thing but it just pokes out a bit much imo

it’s not an eq thing, I probably made it too loud. I’ve never done vocals really before until now. I really didn’t think it was that bad, but I guess it is. I’ll not make the vocals so dominant next time. Hell, might as well fix it now

EDIT: I thought 2-3 db would be extreme but I just did 4db and it sounds... the same to me. Well hot damn I'll be more careful next time. I was too worried about making vocals too quiet like everyone else does. It's also possible I underestimated how much the vocals would be affected by mastering?

Also fun fact, other than the intro guitar everything is synths or a sample. I used a bass sample for the main riff at the start and obviously the drums are samples but otherwise everything is heavily edited synths. I'm obsessed with making organic sounding synths.
